Tasks and goals

• Education and information
• Education in grid technologies and tools in cooperation with existing programmes such as NGSSC or other european programmes.
• Develop the documentation around the use of grid-technologies in cooperation with other projects.
• Hold regular seminars and workshops with hands-on activities.
• Disseminate information around developments and progress in grid-technologies.
• Development and feedback
• Develop the research groups workflows and usage of grid-technologies.
• Act as a link between the researchers and middleware developers.
• Suggest improvements in existing middleware technologies.
• Develop tools for improving grid usability on all levels from command line tools to web portals.

Ongoing activities

• Rewriting the SweGrid documentation, a beta version is available here.
  
• Monitoring of the SweGrid support queue. In-depth user support.
  
• Preparing a SweGrid user survey.
• Planning for upcoming grid courses.
